Our prayer request – to have the St. Padre Pio Chapel fully funded!!

We’re still doing presentations around town and campaigning for the money to build a chapel in a very poor community of Pacure of San Joaquin that lies on the edge of the reserve. Presently, people meet in small homes.  The chapel will serve a large area.  We originally agreed to build a $3,000 chapel for one of the small villages, but our missionary hosts on site told us what they need is a larger chapel that can serve a large area, first.  It’s dedicated to St. Padre Pio and will cost $12,000.  Padre PioWe’ve raised the $3,000 plus some extra and any more funds we recieve will go directly to the Padre Pio Chapel.  The design is beautiful and the knowledge that it will only cost $12,000 to build is staggeringly inexpensive for a church!  Here is a picture of the Church of Saint Pio from Pietrelcina, Italy which the design for our chapel is based on (the chapel we’re building is much smaller).  The design uses prefabricated concrete  panels which will enable them to use a wide variety of cost efficient designs.  Please help this community fund it’s first chapel in honor of St. Padre Pio.  We’re excited to bring such a beautiful place of worship for these people to come to know and worship our Holy God in. Padre Pio ChapelWe are still accepting donations and all of that goes to building the Padre Pio Chapel for the community Pacure of San Joaquin.

Tax deductible donations can be made out to “St. Bryce Foundation” and in the memo write “Catholics On A Mission”.  They can be mailed to Stacy Gill, 4835 Long Canon Place, Fort Wayne, IN 46804
